//About ZIP
ZIP is the most common archive format on the web — almost every operating system opens it natively. This page lets you peek inside one, search for a specific file, preview common file types, and pull out just what you need without unpacking everything.
Supported ZIP variants
- Standard DEFLATE-compressed — the everyday case.
- WinZIP AES (AES-128 / AES-192 / AES-256) — type the password before opening.
- ZIP64 — archives larger than 4 GB or with more than 65,535 entries.
- Mac
__MACOSXmetadata — visible but ignorable.
How to use
- Drop the
.zipfile (or click the dropzone to browse). - If it's password-protected, type the password.
